About Me

My name is Michael Lin, and I’m a playwright, actor, and Foley artist, currently based in Boston, Massachusetts.

I write original and adapted radio plays as well as original stage plays. I have a special passion for comedic plays with big-impact punchlines at the end. I will never apologize for a pun.

Past acting credits of note include the gentleman-burglar of classic French literature, Arsène Lupin, in a trilogy of adapted radio plays by the Post-Meridian Radio Players; an ensemble member in Hub Theatre Company’s IRNE-award winning production of Wit; and the upcoming title villain in the PMRP’s adaptation of Dracula.

My most fondly remembered playwriting credit is the PMRP’s spring 2017 production of Peter Pan, which remains my most ambitious produced script to date and saw a modest collection of donations for the Great Ormond Street Hospital.

I hold Bachelor’s Degrees in Comparative Media Studies and Materials Science & Engineering from MIT, and an MFA in Interactive Media from USC.
